Introduction
NetPause ("we", "our", or "us") is a privacy-first Android application designed to help users pause internet access for selected apps. NetPause works entirely on your device and does not require creating an account.

NetPause does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information.
We do not collect:
- Personal information
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Device identifiers
- Location data
- Contacts
- Browsing history
- Usage analytics
- Crash analytics
- Advertising identifiers
How NetPause Works
NetPause uses Android's built-in VPNService only to block internet access for apps selected by you.
- All filtering happens locally on your device
- Your internet traffic is never routed through our servers
- We do not inspect, record, or transmit your network traffic
App Permissions
NetPause requests only the permissions necessary to provide its functionality.
- VPN Permission — Used to create a local VPN interface that blocks network access for selected apps.
- Query Installed Apps — Used only to display the installed applications so you can choose which apps to pause.
- No permission is used for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
Local Storage
Your selected apps, preferences, and settings are stored only on your device.
We do not upload or synchronize any information to cloud servers.
Third-Party Services
NetPause does not include:
- Google Analytics
- Firebase Analytics
- Advertising SDKs
- Tracking SDKs
- Marketing SDKs
Children's Privacy
NetPause is suitable for users of all ages.
Since the application collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
Data Security
Because all data remains on your device, your information stays under your control.
